Our Foundation:
CCC Academy was founded as "The Alternative Children's Program" in 1987. It was located at 2011 Lincoln in Arlington, Texas. It remained at that site until the current campus was built in 2001 and the school moved in 2002.

The move helped facilitate the "experiential learning" method and allowed us to separate programs to help challenge every kid to his/her potential in a gifted and talented setting.
The CCC Academy building is a licensed facility with the preschool - 6th grade Alternative Home School Learning.
We conduct traditional reading, writing, math, art, and character development activities.

The rest of the 8-acre campus is for "skill acquisition", which
allows children sign up for specialized classes like swimming, quickstart tennis, theater arts, music and more.
All of these programs are also available to children who are not full time students at the academy as well.

Developmentally Appropriate Environment
When you visit CCC Academy, you will find educational rooms for each of the age groups. These rooms are composed of several learning centers where small groups of children interact and play together. Caring teachers provide professional guidance that in turn nurtures each child's learning and enhance learning and natural sense of adventure and discovery.
Cognitive Development
Each child is encouraged to think creatively to solve problems encountered in the variety of learning centers on a daily basis. These unique and concrete experiences provide the foundation concepts involved in the critical thinking process.
Language Development
We use the whole language approach where children learn important beginning skills in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This fundamental part of expressing concepts plays a very important role in the overall thinking process.
Social/Emotional Development
Dramatic play and creative art areas help children enhance self-expression through which social skills, feelings, and dreams come to life!
Physical Development
When Our extensive extra-curricular activities foster physical skill and confidence. This translates into promoting intrinsic motivation (that "I CAN" feeling), which is the key to promote successful and life-long learning.
